Remember When: He got an assist on his Ireland debut

Bio: When Lee O’Connor made his Ireland debut under Mick McCarthy in 2019, many thought he would have many more caps under his belt by the time he hit 24.

Instead, it remained his one and only cap – but at least he made it count. It was he who provided the assist for Callum Robinson as Ireland beat New Zealand 3-1 at the Aviva Stadium.
