Enda Stevens

BORN: July 1990

CLUB: Stoke City

Remember When: He shone for Sheffield United in his debut Premier League season

Bio: Enda was a late developer who worked his way up the English leagues after leaving Shamrock Rovers in 2011.

Officially an Aston Villa, Stevens spent seasons out on loan with the likes of Notts County, before moving permanently to Portsmouth and then Sheffield United.

Sheffield was where the magic happened, with Chris Wilder making Stevens a crucial member of his team which eventually won Premier League promotion.

Stevens’ confidence around that time solved a long-standing left-back issue in the Irish time but form and fitness meant it wouldn’t last forever.
