Bio: It wasn’t always clear whether Michael would stick with the Boys in Green after making his Nations League debut under Martin O’Neill back in 2018, but by the time he was hitting bangers past Scotland in June 2022, by god were we glad he did.
He isn’t always available due to his injury troubles, but when he is Michael is an ace up Ireland’s sleeve – a guy who can pull the team out of some sticky situations.
