Most people were introduced to Jayson Molumby when he captained Stephen Kenny’s first Ireland under-21 selection. That was also when most people warmed to him.

His senior international career took a long time to hit the same heights but come the 2023 Nations League he was at his barnstorming best after finishing a strong season with West Brom.
