With one of the most cultured left-boots ever seen by Irish fans, Brady became an obvious asset after making a goalscoring debut against Oman in 2012.
Trap was impressed but it was under O’Neill and Keane when Brady really shone.
His wide deliveries gave Ireland a new dimension in qualifying and his attacking midfield performance at EURO 2016 saw him score two goals that won’t be forgotten.
Injuries have prevented Brady from becoming the Ireland star people predicted he would become after EURO 2016 but has made important contributions when available, such as the injury time Nations League winner against Armenia in 2022.
