Rumours
The Daily Record are reporting that Caoimhin Kelleher is on the wishlist of Juventus. Kelleher spoke about his desire to get first-team minutes during the last international window and Juve’s desire to sell Wojciech Szczęsny could make a headline-grabbing transfer possible.
Adam Idah also looks likely to leave the English game by returning to Celtic Park. It seems progress is finally being made between Celtic and Norwich for the 23-year-old striker’s signature, with £6 million plus add-ons the latest offer.
“I’m hoping by the end of the window that can be done, with some others,” said Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers yesterday. “God willing, we can get that sorted along with one or two other players”
Football Insider reports that Dara O’Shea has ignored interest from Ipswich Town as he holds out for a move to Brentford. The Burnley centre-back could join Nathan Collins in defence for the London club.
Ireland under-21 midfielder Joe Hodge could be about to sign a loan deal with Hibernian after being told he will not be part of Wolves’ plans this season. He has already trained with the Scottish Premiership side.
